Yes. The minimum riding age is 16 years for any electric scooter that meets the 25 km/h speed limit and 250W motor limit. No driving licence is required for this category.
A helmet is not legally mandatory for electric scooters with a maximum speed below 25 km/h. However, wearing an ISI-certified helmet is strongly recommended for every ride to ensure maximum safety.
Carry your dealer invoice and the CMVR Certificate. These documents confirm that your scooter is exempt from registration and driving licence requirements under Indian regulations.
